Abstract
The proposed session focuses on the application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in the design, integration, and validation of smart transportation systems, particularly in the context of electric mobility (e-mobility). With increasing system complexity and multi-domain dependencies—spanning vehicles, charging infrastructure, distributed energy resources (DERs), and smart grids—MBSE offers a structured, simulation-driven approach to engineering these systems from concept to deployment. The session will highlight how MBSE supports architecture definition, system verification, safety analysis, and lifecycle management for sustainable mobility solutions.
Core Themes
Model-Based Design of EV and Charging Systems
System Architecture for E-Mobility Integration
MBSE Tools for DER and V2G Coupling
Digital Twins and Simulation-Based Validation
Lifecycle Management of Transport Energy Systems
